CAUSE i - TUNES IS A DIGITAL VAMPIRE

So last night, I actually stayed in to cure my hell of a Halloween-hangover and flicked through the vast digital catalogue of music news when I came across this beauty of a debatable Speech, held by a rock Dinosaur (Pete Townshend) about his new ideas for the modern music industry (Aplles i-tunes).

So what do you think, is this what Aplle really intended when they created i-tunes, do they want to take on all these tasks? And even if, do you think Pete's ideas could work and it would make a difference for the artists?

Here the full John Peel Lecture where his memory is honoured, but mainly discusses where the music industry is evolved since than and where it is headin.... well, yeah i know, its been basically discussed every week, but still interesting.

and for people from the UK, you can actually watch the people sitting there, sipping red wine and talking and of course Pete Townshend
